I love this show. Every Thursday night it feels like a massive sporting event is coming up on tele. It's exciting. I like the variety more than Survivor, and it's also good because it doesn't have some lame Detective named Goran solving crap crimes.

This season is awesome. Rob and Amber are completely pissing on the competition. Rob's doing the dodgiest stuff, like bribing the bus drive to only open the front door, and it makes for a heaps more interesting show than last season. DAMN GOOD. I want Rob and Amber to win, or the 2 brothers ("Yeah, that's it, get your pink arse on in there").

Most Thursday nights I get together with a couple of friends and we watch The Amazing Race while consuming vast quantities of pizza and imbibing in far too much beer. This season is definately where it is at, though, and you are dead on when you say Boston Rob and Amber are making it all the more interesting. For years I've been sitting in front of the tube talking about how none of these fools really play the game, and that I would be much more devious and cunning. Finally, someone else has cottoned on to that fact. Good times.

Well on the back of those reviews and the promise of deviousnessness, I'll tune in.

Argh, for some reason or other I've had Yahoo as my homepage and the other day the assholes had mentioned on their front page the winners of this series as it had just gone to air in the US. I'll still tune in if only to see what Rob gets upto, but this series is all but ruined for me. >:(

BTW, someone told me at work the other day that the next series will be teams of four (ie: families). Ought to be a lot of fun!

This is one of the better reality shows, what I like best about it is that the winner isnt based on popularity but on actually winning something, great show and it's more interesting with Survivor's 'Boston Rob' using his usual sneaky tactics, top stuff :)

I just watched a tape of Thursday night's ep. Rob is king. Stealing a taxi and also making the other teams stop the challenge was genius. If Rob & Amber loses before the end of the series, then my interest level will drop plenty. I was happy to see the 2 girls lose, as they were idiots. The blonde one's quote was so stupid: "These people are so retarded, they don't know where to go. Not that we know where to go, but I'm just saying." See ya, morons :D

I must admit this has to be the best Amazing Race yet. Rob and Amber (mostly Rob) are really stirring things up and adding some tactics to the game, shaking things up a bit. I love it! :woot:

Yeah, something like that happened to me as well, and now I know who wins. :(

I would watch this, but Thursday night is Footy Show night...

The Footy Show is a bit shit now IMO. So I'm more than happy to change channels. We asked for all our indoor soccer games on a Thursday night to be played at 6.45 so that we could get home for The Amazing Race. Dedicated.

Like [m]av I prefer the Footy Show, if anything to see Sam act like a moron. However last week I did watch it during the commerical breaks and it was pretty awesome how Rob and Amber completely screwed over the rest of those idiots. :P

And like Hello said, every Thursday as I toil at my pathetic job, knowing The Amazing Race is on gives me hope and motivation to go forth, which is the same feeling I used to get on Friday's when I knew I could go home and watch the AFL live or nearly live when I lived in Melbourne. Now I have to wait until 11.30. :(
