Feel free to put your scores in for Challenge, Time Attack and Single Skin modes. Just be sure to mention what time limit you had for Time Attack or what skin you were using in Single Skin.

I've only really played Puzzle and Challenge.

Nah dude -- no chance of that happening this lifetime. To get to Lights, you need to reach Level 100. Hitting the 999,999 mark will net you the Water Flower & Lights skin.

Could have but if you have to go searching through a thread of discussion simply to find top scores it is a bit of a pain. If you wanna join it to the main discussion that's cool but I was hoping to keep a high score table.

I've been concentrating on puzzle mode, which i've finished. When you "finish" though, you basically do what you've done previously, but twice... urghh.

A bit surprised/dissapointed to see the next skin was Shining. But then I looked back over the skin list Tinklez posted in the Lumines discussion thread and realised I've now unlocked all the challenge level skins (bar Waterflower+Lights). Now to get the two puzzle skins and the rest of the VS CPU skins.

Well, I was on a roll the other day, and hit the 250,000+ mark. Funny thing is, when I choked, the damn thing asked me to load my existing saved game, and I nearly pressed ok... AGAIN!!! I would've been SO pissed, because I unlocked 6 skins.

Yes, I have learned to read every damn pop up very carefully on Lumines. I'm buggered why it does that freaking load screen. It really shits me.

So you get it too? Stupid thing. Seems to only do it when you've unlocked a few skins at once.

I'm learning to deal with them better these days.

Just make sure you don't end up with a checkerboard pattern, make sure that where ever you put them you have one color block line up with another.

Ok, my top score currently comes in at the 290,000 mark.. which I seem to be averaging, but not surpassing.

I've also come under, what I call, ILD.... Intense Lumines Dissallusion. The symptoms of which, have me constantly thinking about where I can strategically put mysterious blocks forming in front of my eyes, for the best combo, and longevity.

Spot on. I have to say I've not touched Lumines since Lights was unlocked. I've now been making my way through Ridge Racer and Ac!d.

I continued the game last night, hit the 550K mark, and managed to wittle the massive amount of blockage to practically nothing, save for a huge column on the left hand side. anyway, I got a good block, and wanted to get rid of the blocks at the bottom of that column, but I held left for a second too long, which meant that the block dropping decided to release on top of the column, which ended up in a game over for me. SO PISSED!

So I played again, and put the damn thing to sleep at 400K, so I can try again.

Nyer nyer! :D

Ok, just bombed out at 855,000.

Let me tell you though, once you pass Lights for the second time, the speed kicks up to near impossible standards, and all you can do is let the blocks drop, and hope they hit something good. They give you no time to think, so it looks like the only way you can realistically reach the 999,999 mark, is to hit it with bonus points, before you finish lights the second time.

Don't know why I'm bothering posting this one but I'm at 462,791 now after having realised that I'm the only person in the office and I have my PSP with me.
