Okay, no piracy here folks, I simply wanna back up my existing dvd's cos I got this kick ass burner, the thing is I ca't burn some of 'em cos they're copy protected! Do you know any software (FREE!) online that I can download? Thanks.

Hmm, the best software i've used for backing up DVDs, is CloneDVD. But, it aint free, so that's the only downside.

Can't really recommend anything else, as i've not used anything else other than CloneDVD.

I downloaded this DVD43, and backed up American Pie 3 using a 21 day trial version of Clone DVD. I need the full version! Anyway, thanks for DVD43 it's great.

Well I've had no problems with DVD shrink, infact, it's really good for trying to sweeze dual-layered DVDs onto single layered discs. :)

Clone DVD will do that for ya automatically. You can even see what the movie quality will be like when it does compress it, and you can increase the quality, and see how much it is being increased by, when you remove extras and whatnot.

So does DVD shrink.
