Over at VCGN, their forum is [ractically dead, no one posts really, but I keep going there because of the rupee system and the blog feature. The rupee system is probably one of the best features that can be implemented in a forum as people like Nismo and the like get rewarded for long, sustained posts and people like me and Gio suffer for their short posts.

I wouldn't mind some form of games happening here at Evo to make things more active, things have picked up lately though, is there any chance of it or is it too hard to implement?

I quite liked the Rupee system back when I was posting at VCGN. Linkage had quite a few good ways to spend them and playing the games and entering the raffle was good fun. I liked how we could buy those little icons and stuff too, that was cool.

To be honest though, I wouldn't want to see them implemented here purely because I just don't have the time to play forum games like I did back then. Even if they were available, I wouldn't touch them.
It is a shame that it can't be implemented due to us using Invisionfree though, as I am sure a lot of people would take advantage of the games and currency system.

Hmmm...it's actually been a while since we did anything in the way of competition threads...unfortunately that's the best we can do on this software.

Well, I have been running the ol' Caption These! Competition over the past couple of months. In fact, just last week I started the 2nd 2005 Edition. It hasn't recieved much of a response yet though.

I encourage all to pop down to Xbox Central and have a go, even if you aren't all that interested in obtaining a shiny badge.
