Man this game is the football shyt. Its got great graphics, great gameplay, easy to learn controls and plays and the weather and wind have effects on your kicks and passes. Does anyone else own this? :ph43r:

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, why the hell isn't this game online?
This is sega here, not the supposed dickheads at EA spoiling our fun.
Theres bloody more than 10 NFL games out this generation and they're all the same. Gah! (except for the street series, but so what?)

This game is online, do you mean for PS2? Because its Live for Xbox.
ultracrazy1 - February 26, 2005 09:04 AM (GMT)
Are you telling me that you have a PAL copy in your possession and it has an online option? All the boxes I've seen have absolutely no indication that the game is live enabled.

I feel like a newb, whats PAL? And this game is live, go to the IGN boards for it and they talk about games they have all the time. And the in game menu even says: Xbox Live.
 :pirate:

Strange, it's the same deal with NBA 2k5 here as well, it doesn't seem to have live play either, even though over in the US it does.

PAL is the version that gets released in Australia, New Zealand and Europe. NTSC is American, and although all the message boards, reviews and blurbs about NFL2K5, madden 2005, NBA2K5, NBA street vol 3 and NFL street say the game is online, those games are only online in american NTSC regions. (Theres a few other regions like japan's NTSC, but I doubt the games would be online there if they aren't here).
Please Surashu just put me out of my misery and tell me where you got your copy. Did you buy it in Australia? Does it say PAL anywhere on the box? All the boxes I've seen in stores have no 'live enabled' info.
You know the little comments at dvdcrave say that these games are online, but I wish they'd take the time to see if its only NTSC or PAL thats online. Such a terrible trend at the moment. All the games are good, but if I took them home and never had a multiplayer game I'd feel I just wasted that $100.
Comrade Natrak - March 1, 2005 12:50 PM (GMT)
Surashu's from an NTSC region. No wonder he was confused about 'PAL'.
And wait, NBA Street v3 isn't online in PAL regions either? Utter bullshit.
I don't understand why they've done this, the 2k4 games had Live play in our region, why cut it the next year?

That might be why then, I'm from Canada and its live here.
Eagles are my fave team in that game.
