Title: HABIB TALKS
Description: 60 MINUTES EDITS

Mykle - February 12, 2005 02:58 AM (GMT)
Well it seems M. Habib is being interviewed on 60 minutes, and from what I've seen on the ads, most of the questions revolve around 'Are you a terrorist?', 'Are you not, not a terrorist?' and 'Aren't you not a terrorist?'
What are your thoughts? Will anyone gain anything from this interview (apart from Habib and 60 minutes?)

60 Minutes means lollygagging and soup questions. I'm not sure anymore if their crew does it for fun or ratings or whether they really are just poor journalists.

When's that on? 8:30 Sunday? I never watch 60 Minutes but I'd like to hear what Habib has to say. I hope they're paying him a shiteload! I'd be interested to see the Government try to take it off him, it'd be a damn good legal battle.

All commercial "journalists" are whores. They do it for the money, nothing to do with "journalism" at all. Dirty, dirty crack whores.

SBS best news, ABC second best.

It's on at 7:30... at least I'm pretty sure it's 7:30.

Not interested, I think we know what to expect since it's airing on 60 Minutes.

How are they different? Do they not get paid?

Stevorooni - February 12, 2005 06:09 AM (GMT)
I hope they do a really dodgy edit, like that simpsons episode.

"Gimme some of that ... sweeeet ... sweeeet ... ass ... * drools *"

Yes, they do get paid; but no-where near as much as the ones that work at commercial stations.
The Journos who work at SBS and ABC tend to be alot more passionate and serious about their reports because they have to work hard for their money.

When was the last time you saw a report on Shonky Lebaniese Buliders or What Hamburger has more Fat in it on the 7:30 Report?

Moggo - February 12, 2005 12:33 PM (GMT)
I like 60 Minutes and watch it weekly. I respect their journalists as my cynicism doesn't cloud my judgement. I want to work for 60 Minutes one day, but as a cameraman, or something.

I'm looking forward to this one,as I'm totally behind Habib. If America couldn't find anything to charge him with, he must be innocent.

Steady salaries invite mediocrity. The program's about as credible as anything on Fox News or Lynch Mob with Skanky Anchor.
